Rapid Harmonic Detection Scheme Based on Expanded Input Observer

چکیده

The existence of harmonics will cause the quality power supply in a system to decline and affect normal use system. Therefore, it is important suppress system, first step harmonic suppression detection. To address this phenomenon, fast detection method proposed paper. It based on input observer theory construct state space model original signal components estimate variables so as achieve extraction. characteristic roots are used prove convergence observer. In addition, Second-Order Generalized Integration (SOGI) frequency estimation chosen cascade with that can be accomplished unknown frequencies. simulation results quickly converge accurately extract each case fluctuations fundamental amplitude, phase signal, whole process completed 0.02 s. possible effects white noise extraction also simulated, accuracy still guaranteed presence noise. By using Speedgoat real-time target machine built Rapid Control Prototype (RCP) testbed, experiments similar conditions were performed. show has accurate performance.

Observer-based fault detection and identification scheme for power systems

A scheme suitable for the detection and identification of faults in power systems is presented. Two notable contributions are made: a re-modelling of faulty components of power systems that is applicable to both normal and faulty conditions, and a fault detection scheme for power systems. The faults are modelled as unknown inputs, decoupled from the state and output measurements through coordin...

Unknown Input Observer Based Scheme for Detecting Faults in a Wind Turbine Converter

In order to improve reliability of wind turbines, it is important to detect faults in the turbine as fast as possible to handle them in an optimal way. An important component in modern wind turbines is the converter, which for a wind turbine control point-of-view normally provides the torque acting on the wind turbine generator, as well as measurement of this torque. In this paper an unknown in...

Design of nonlinear parity approach to fault detection and identification based on Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy model and unknown input observer in nonlinear systems

In this study, a novel fault detection scheme is developed for a class of nonlinear system in the presence of sensor noise. A nonlinear Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy model is implemented to create multiple models. While the T-S fuzzy model is used for only the nonlinear distribution matrix of the fault and measurement signals, a larger category of nonlinear systems is considered. Next, a mapping to decou...
